Paint, Chemicals, Electronics and Shredding


In response to the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), to ensure the safety of staff and visitors to the Manassas Transfer Station, Waste Management has asked that all visitors provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, high visibility vest, face mask, and gloves when using the facility. 

HHW and Electronics Drop-off Days
Resume June 6

Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics drop-off events will resume with our next scheduled Drop-off Day June 6. Residents are asked to wear masks or face coverings at the site and remain in their cars while the crews remove drop-off materials.

The City of Manassas offers residents an opportunity to take their household hazardous waste, electronic waste and shredding at the Manassas Transfer Station  on Household Hazardous Waste and eWaste Disposal Days. 

This service is free and only available on selected days. The Transfer Station does not accept Household Hazardous Waste and eWaste outside specified disposal days.

The City of Manassas does not accept:
ammunition, explosives, medical waste, commercial or industrial waste.
