6th Annual Stonewall Jackson 5k
- When? Saturday, October 24th
- Volunteer time? 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Where? Volunteer will meet at Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas
- What? Volunteer responsibilities include: registration/sign-in, handing out race packets and t-shirts, directing runners along course, working at water stations, handing out door prizes, clean-up
3rd Annual Neighborhood Conference
- When? Saturday, November 14th
- Volunteer time? You can sign up for shifts between the hours of 7a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Where? Boys and Girls Club in Manassas (9501 Dean Park Lane)
- What? There are volunteer projects leading up to the Conference, as well as the day of. If you would like to hear more about it, please call Kisha at (703) 257-8240
Breakfast with Santa
- When? Saturday, December 12th
- Volunteer time? Shifts: 7:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Where? Boys and Girls Club in Manassas (9501 Dean Park Lane)
- What? Volunteer responsibilities include: table set-up, decorating room, registration/sign-in, wrapping presents, food set-up, cooking, working buffet line, clean-up

Achievements
Week of Hope 2009 (June 15th - August 1st)
For seven weeks, students from across the country and from Canada rotated through Manassas to clean up a city plagued by vacant housing. The students, ages 14 to 25, did tasks that included planting flowers, pulling weeds, hauling trash, painting fences and taking down old decks. They put in 15,600 hours of service, saving the city, residents and organizations almost $320,300, Wilson-Sogunro said.
