The Commissioner of the Revenue is responsible for the annual assessment of all real property, residential and commercial, in the City of Manassas. Virginia law requires that assessments be uniform and based on 100% of fair market value.

Our goal is to assess and update real property in the City in a fair and equitable manner to ensure that each taxpayer bears his/her share of the real property tax burden.
