This program is a Commissioner of the Revenue and City Treasurer effort to assess and collect taxes from apparent tax evaders in the City of Manassas. Citizen reports are very helpful and appreciated in the effort to ensure that all vehicles are properly assessed and that everyone carries their fair share of the tax burden.


To open a case, only the plate number and state are required. To enable the Commissioner of Revenue’s office to fully investigate tax evasion reports, we recommend that you provide as much additional information as possible. Only vehicles with permanent plates should be reported. Please do not report vehicles with temporary tags or dealer plates.
