The City of Manassas is soliciting Bids for the Interior Service Road
This project consists of the construction of a new single-lane service road, approximately 2,400 feet long and twelve (12) feet wide width 4-foot shoulders on each side for a total width of twenty (20) feet. The road will connect to James Payne Court to the West Apron and will run inside the perimeter security fence at the Manassas Regional Airport. A new security gate will be required at the existing fence line along James Payne Court, and signage will be installed along the roadway. Drainage and erosion and sediment control will be required.
NOTE: It should be noted to bidders on this project that award may not occur until March 2010. Project construction may not begin until the Spring of 2010.
Pre-Bid Meeting
A pre-bid conference for this project will be held in the Manassas Regional Airport Terminal Building, Conference Room, 2nd Floor, 10600 Harry Parish Blvd, Manassas, VA 20110 at 10:00 am local time on Monday, October 19, 2009.

Interested bidders may obtain the IFB documents by (1) submitting a request and fee of seventy-five ($75.00) dollars per set, non-refundable, payable by check or cash (no credit cards are accepted) to the City of Manassas, Purchasing Division 8500 Public Works Drive, Manassas, VA 20110, documents will be delivered by first class mail unless overnight delivery is requested and paid for by the bidder; (2) by picking up the documents at the above address, along with your seventy-five($75.00) dollars non-refundable deposit, by check or cash (no credit cards are accepted). Please make check payable to City of Manassas.
The bid documents are open to public inspection at the City of Manassas Purchasing Division.
