Journey Through Hallowed Ground: Birthplace of the American Ideal Exhibit - Apr. 28 - Aug. 30
Travel the rolling roads, fields, and plains of this uniquely American journey through moving photographs of National Geographic photographer Kenneth Garrett. The Manassas Museum celebrates the City's participation in the Journey with a special emphasis on Manassas destinations.

Exhibit Opening: Women in Railroading - June 6 - Aug. 1
Women worked on the Baltimore and Ohio railroad as early as 1855. From the strenuous task of laying track to the more socially acceptable modeling for ads, the railroad provided a variety of jobs for women. Learn about some of the women who worked on railroads, their jobs and their heroic acts.

Center for the Arts Caton Merchant Gallery Exhibit - 'Quilters Unlimited – Arlington Chapter' - June 17 - July 29
Quilters Unlimited which was founded in 1972 exists to promote the knowledge and understanding of this traditional art form. The Arlington Chapter, one of twelve chapters of the Northern Virginia Organization, plans a unique exhibit designed for the Caton Merchant Family Gallery. Based on the perfect symmetry of the gallery, the participating quilters demonstrate a progression from traditional works to innovative quilt styles.
