Education Trunks


Education trunks can be rented from the Manassas Museum. Want to provide an enriching supplement for your students on your own schedule? Check out our traveling trunks, complete with teacher's guides and hands on materials. The following trunks are available:
  • Virginia I: Colonial - Pre-Industrial Revolution

  • Virginia II: Industrial Revolution - Modern Era 

  • Past and Present (Grades K-3)

  • Native American  Nature and ExplorationCivil Rights   
  • Archaeology 
Early Learning
The Manassas Museum is offering new educational outreach programs for Kindergartners. Each program is designed to help develop communication skills, drive curiosity, and foster Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) learning.  Each implements Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) by including crafts and activities to expand learning.  The outreach programs available are:
  • Nature by Day
  • Nature by Night
  • The Natural World
  • Science and Weather

Boy and Cub Scout Opportunities

The Manassas Museum offers a wide range of opportunities for Scouts to become more familiar with the community. Through cooperative activities, Scouts can learn to become leaders and earn badges. Girl Scout Opportunities


We offer a wide range of opportunities for Girl Scouts. We are always happy to talk to individual parents or Scouts about specific projects
