Parks, Culture & Recreation

One-stop shopping always makes things easier, and the new division of Parks, Culture and Recreation aims to be a one-stop shop for all your leisure needs.
We've combined the assets of the Manassas Museum with the former Neighborhood Services division to make it easier for you to learn about and enjoy all the recreational and cultural opportunities available in our community, and to improve your leisure experiences. We've also combined forces to offer more volunteer and sponsorship opportunities. The new division was formed with existing staff and without any change in budget.

 Help Clean Liberia!
  clean the bay day

Join thousands of Virginians in this 29th annual effort to remove litter and debris from the rivers, streams, and beaches of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Our local effort will focus on stream clean up at Liberia, the city’s historic site. The event offers a good opportunity for families, businesses, clubs, civic or church groups to give back to local waterways. Visit to register.
