RecycleFest Success!
Our Spring RecycleFest was a great success. 502 cars dropped off their electronics, shredding, gently used clothing and household hazardous waste in just four hours. Congratulations City of Manassas residents - we just broke another recycling record!

Earth Day Poster Contest Winners
The City of Manassas is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Earth Day Poster Contest. Over 400 children in the City participated in the contest, which is aimed at improving their understanding of environmental issues and encouraging them to help keep Manassas beautiful. All Manassas City Public School students in years 1 – 6 were eligible to participate and win and prizes including gift cards, gardening kits, and the opportunity for their artwork to be displayed in classrooms and on the City of Manassas and Manassas City Public Schools websites.

2017 Earth Day Poster Contest Winners are:

Gold Award - Stephanie Juliano – Age 12 - Mayfield Intermediate School 
Silver Award - Angel Moreno Cedillo – Age 11 - Mayfield Intermediate School 
Bronze Award - Isabel Calvillo – Age 8 - Weems Elementary School
