Members in good standing receive certain benefits throughout the year, such as discounts or free access to events and merchandise. Members also know they are doing good by supporting support community service projects throughout the year that help those in need, such as adopting underprivileged families during the holiday season.
How Can I Become a Member of MCPA?
In order to be considered a member of MCPA in good standing, privy to all regular benefits membership affords, you must be currently employed by, or a retiree of, Manassas City Police Department and pay dues.
How Much Does it Cost to Be a Member?
Per Article VII of the Association's By-Laws, the amount of annual dues is set by the membership each year. In January 2018, members voted to set the annual dues amount at $50.
Do I have to pay all my dues up front?
No. You have the option to pay on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
What Forms of Payment Are Accepted?
MCPA accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Automatic withdrawals are available by using PayPal or online bill pay through your bank. Google Wallet is also accepted. To make a secure payment in person using a credit card, please see a Board member or email MCPA to make a appointment.
