Manassas City Police Department Employee Recognition

The Manassas City Police Department receives numerous commendations from citizens, outside agencies, and internally for exemplary service rendered above that required by duty. The chief of police delivers the commendations in memorandum form to the members that are recognized and to the Peer Review Committee. The Peer Review Committee is comprised of non-supervisory members from all divisions of the department and are appointed by the chief of police. The Peer Review Committee, on a monthly basis, recognizes the most outstanding member(s) of the department from commendations that have been issued and nominates them to be employee(s) of the month.
